Focus typeface is based on the f-stops or focal distance meassurement of a camera lens. Each character in the typeface can reflect the geometric progression of f-stops, which are ratios that determine the aperture size in a camera lens. This geometric progression can influence the proportional relationships within the typeface, creating a harmonious and mathematically consistent visual rhythm. For instance, the strokes of the letters could vary in thickness analogous to the increasing and decreasing sizes of apertures. A larger aperture (lower f-stop number) could be represented by thicker, more open characters, while a smaller aperture (higher f-stop number) might inspire thinner, more condensed forms.
